Affectionately known as The Kawate Cottage, this newly renovated 2 bedroom, one bath cottage with living room, and spacious kitchen is a charming garden cottage. It is decorated with antique Koa furniture and comfortable beds featuring romantic bed posts from the early 1900's.
Mr. Kawate worked for the Faye family for many years as a carpenter. He created a garden accented with a pond that housed his cherished possessions..his fish . While sitting outside under a garden umbrella, our guests will be able to see the actual formation of the pond, surrounded by trees and tropical plants. This house is a perfect setting to rejuvenate and feel the strong hands of this wonderful man embrace you through the architecture and foundation.
